It was delivered quickly (3-4 days on Prime) . Takes approximately 1 minute to get a reading which is accurate and consistent. It does come with battery, instructions, and plastic case; reads in °C or °F. I give it the benefit of the doubt on the price... it seems high but is comparable to similar quality products.
