Very good value. Relatively easy to assemble as long as you remember not to tighten all the fasteners until it is fully assembled. Then go around and snug up the fasteners. I had my own T-handle hex wrench which makes life much easier than the supplied wrench.

I recently moved into a tiny condo and I need to maximize space and storage wherever I can! These stools were the perfect addition to my kitchen island. At first, I was worried about these as some reviews said that the wood was damaged or missing pieces, but that was not the case! The package arrived quickly and it took me about 20 min to set up both chairs. They are very sturdy and the metal piece that sits on the footrest is a nice touch! They are priced very well compared to everywhere else that I was looking. The wood is high quality and it even comes with the sliding pads that fit perfectly under each leg. For a wood slab, they are also pretty comfortable and my guests enjoy sitting on them. If you are looking for stools to fit under an island or bar, these are the perfect height! They do not look like I paid $70 for both of them.

They seem really sturdy, there’s a nice weight to the chairs and I like how they look. Great height for my kitchen table and the wood looks good.
