This is the first UV sanitizing light I have ever owned. I know UV light does kill certain microorganisms, so it seemed worth checking out. The lamp looks pretty futuristic. It also puts out a good amount of light. I like that it is lightweight. It makes it easy to move from room to room. It also makes it very easy to find places to place it within each room. It arrived undamaged but it does feel a bit fragile when I am moving it. I do not think it will break under normal circumstances but I would not drop it. I like having an extra level of protection in my home. This is a reasonably priced lamp if it works and it is still reasonably priced even if it is just giving me peace of mind.

I had my doubts. I plugged it in and did a 15 min cycle. I left the room, as directed. When I came back the room definitely had a cleaner smell. I was shocked how well it works.
